Dai Gyakuten Saiban: demo version coming soon to the Japanese Nintendo eShop

In the past few days, 3 upcoming Capcom games were playable during a special “Mall Tour” in 5 big cites across Japan (Sapporo, Nagoya, Hakata, Osaka and Tokyo).

During the last one, Shintaro Kojima (the producer) made an announcement: a demo version for Dai Gyakuten Saiban – Naruhodou Ryuunosuke no Bouken will soon be made available on the Japanese Nintendo eShop. No date was given, but no doubt we should be hearing more about it in the upcoming days/weeks.

Unsurprisingly, this trial version will be based on the Monster Hunter Festa demo, which has been playable at various events across Japan in the past few months. That way, even players who couldn’t go to any of those events will be able to try out the game before its release.

The demo version features one of the major new elements of Dai Gyakuten Saiban – Naruhodou Ryuunosuke no Bouken: the joint-reasoning system, where Naruhodou Ryuunosuke and Sherlock Holmes work together in order to find the truth. It will allow up to 30 uses, and require 48.9MB of free space.

What’s more, it was also confirmed that the special movies (featuring Naruhodou Ryuunosuke and Sherlock Holmes), made for Capcom’s “Mall Tour” and written by Shu Takumi himself, would soon be made available for everyone to watch (starting with the one for Tokyo).

Finally, here’s some pictures of the last event from Capcom’s “Mall Tour”:
