  • A shortcut in the market allows you to automatically make the same food order as the previous one. You can also load the same basket as the day before.
 
BETTER QUEST WORKFLOW
  • There’s now markers to quest-related recipes on the research table and recipe book.
  • Quest markers are displayed if a recipe needs to be leveled up to complete a quest
  • You can filter recipes out recipes not needed in quests
  • They’re displayed on the preparation table so you now know exactly what to give to your brigade
  • New feedback to show the progress of brigade members’ levels
REWORKED THE WARMKEEPER
  • Heat lamps are now a separate station from the warmkeeper
  • The warmkeeper allows you to store a wider variety of dishes
IMPROVED THE DRESSING EDITOR
  • Resize all ingredients that you’ve already dropped

How to download updates for Chef Life: A Restaurant Simulator for the Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for Chef Life: A Restaurant Simulator, you have three options:

  • let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

  • try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

OR

  • select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
