[Brief] SEGA 3D Classics: 3D Sonic The Hedgehog 2 coming out on October 8th

Back in April, SEGA revealed a new batch of SEGA 3D Classics titles, with the last one being 3D Sonic The Hedgehog 2 (released in July in Japan). It was originally supposed to come out in September in the West, but it was eventually delayed. Yesterday, SEGA announced that it would be released on October 8th in Europe and North America.

Here’s the features of 3D Sonic The Hedgehog 2:

  • “Ring Keep” mode (which allows you to start each level with 10 rings, and halves the amount of rings you lose everytime you get hit).
  • local multiplayer
  • Sonic and Tails in co-op
  • VS mode
  • quick save
  • Japanese and international versions (you can switch from one to the other)
