Bloodstained: new stretch goal reached, final livestream, more
Unreal Engine 4
As mentionned earlier, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night on Wii U (and PlayStation Vita) will run on Unreal Engine 4. The thing is, the engine is not officially supported on Wii U, so the team at Armature Studios will have to port it… quite the daunting task!
In order to thank the community who are going to make this possible (thanks to their pledge), Armature Studios is going to share the UE4 code for Wii U and PS Vita to any registered developers on those platforms… for free!
Ending Stream
In order to celebrate the end of the Kickstarter campaign, the developers are going to host a special livestream during the last hours. It will be streamed live from the Inti Creates office, with Fraser and Becky of Video Games AWESOME! as hosts.
Here’s what’s in store for this stream:
IGA, Ben Judd, Nayan (Playism), the entire Inti Creates crew, and a host of special guests will be there playing games, speaking about the game/campaign, and thanking you for all the incredible support you’ve lent us so far.

Online Challenge Mode
Yesterday, a new stretch goal (4 million) was reached, which means that Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night will now feature an Online Challenge Mode:
– Team up with a friend online in both co-op and versus modes
– Power through specially designed stages by clearing challenges, killing enemies, collecting items, and more
– Battle extra-powerful bosses which drop rare items
The next stretch goal is at 4.25 million $, and it unlocks the third playable character.
5 million $ stretch goal
The team revealed the very alst stretch goal for the Kickstarter campaign (5 million $): Roguelike Dungeons. It’s a brand new mode in which the castle is randomised at each playthrough. Once you’ve cleared it, you will get a code that will allow you to share the dungeon with your friends.
Swordwhip
The Swordwhip is a special weapon available in the backer-edition (pledge of 60$ minimum) of the game: the Swordwhip.
Finally, here’s the last Ask IGA video:
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night will come out on Wii U.
