Bloodstained: July update (surveys, amount of rooms, more)

On Friday, the developers of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night published their first monthly update for the game, on their Kickstarter page. First, they talked briefly about the platform survey, which should go live by the end of the month. It will allow you to select your version of the game, and apply any of the add-ons you made: it will be sent to you via your Kickstarter email address.

Due to all the consoles and digital options available, the survey is quite complex, and the team is currently working to make sure everything works just fine.

In a message addressed to fans, Koji Igarashi explained that Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night will be the biggest game he’s ever created. Apparently, it will have over 1 600 rooms, and he’s started to think that he may actually need more enemies to fill them up.

He also mentionned the possibility of adding three more main characters (who wouldn’t be playable, though), and he actually has a few ideas for those already: “A grizzled, middle-aged hunter, perhaps? Or a pure unscathed youth?”. Then again, he’s well aware that all this might be more fun for him than for Inti Creates, who are doing most of the development work.

Finally, he thanked fans for their patience, and asked them to keep the nice comments and ideas coming.

Bloodstained will come out on Wii U.
