Arcade Archives Silk Worm releasing this week on Nintendo Switch

Hamster has announced that the latest Arcade Archives release on Nintendo Switch is Silk Worm. It’s a horizontally scrolling shooter originally developed and released on Arcade by Tecmo back in 1988 in Japan and in the rest of the world. On Nintendo Switch, it will launch on February 1st and it will cost 6.99€ / £6.29 / $7.99 / 838 Yen. The Japanese version will offer an English language option.

Here’s a trailer, some details, and some screenshots:

1P operates a helicopter, 2P operates a light armored vehicle, and the stage is cleared by defeating the boss waiting at the end of the stage. The operating methods are different for 1P and 2P, so use the aircraft that suits you best.
