Arcade Archives Navarone releasing this week on Nintendo Switch

Hamster have confirmed that the latest Arcade Archives release on Nintendo Switch is Navarone. It’s a fixed screen shooter game originally developed and released on Arcade by Namco back in 1980 in Japan. On Nintendo Switch, it will launch on March 30th, and as usual, it will cost 6.99€ / £6.29 / $7.99 / 838 Yen. The Japanese version will offer an English language option.

Here’s a trailer, some details, and some screenshots:

“NAVARONE” is a shooting game developed by NAMCO (Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc) that was in operation at arcades around 1980.
Take control of a fighter plane on a mission to destroy enemy targets of various sizes scattered across a peninsula. When you take down a major target, all of the minor targets around it will be destroyed with it. You get a bigger bonus from taking out the targets with fewer shots, so aim carefully!

Arcade Archives Navarone (Switch – eShop) comes out on March 30th worldwide.
