Arcade Archives Galaga releasing tomorrow on Nintendo Switch

Hamster have confirmed that the latest Arcade Archives release on Nintendo Switch is Galaga. It’s a fixed shooter game originally developed and released on Arcade by Namco back in 1981 in Japan. On Nintendo Switch, it will launch on January 5th, and as usual, it will cost 6.99€ / £6.29 / $7.99 / 838 Yen. The Japanese version will offer an English language option.

“GALAGA” is a shooter released by NAMCO (Bandai Namco Entertainment) in 1981. It is a sequel to GALAXIAN. This title has a new model of FIGHTER with rapid-fire missiles facing off with vicious aliens! It also lets you rescue FIGHTERS captured by BOSS GALAGA tractor beams to form a Dual FIGHTER for linked dual missile fire.

Arcade Archives Galaga (Switch – eShop) comes out on January 5th worldwide.
