Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp – Early look at upcoming updates (new terrain, new look for Goals, easier Gardening)

Today, Nintendo shared some early details about the upcoming Software update for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. This one will bring some more improvements and additional content to the game, but nothing too exciting like major new features from the looks of it.

First of all, some new Campsite Terrain will be added: fireworks sky, but also lakeside field (background). The two look like they go pretty well together! Next, the Goals screens is getting a complete makeover: it looks like from now on, the various goals will be sorted in various tabs, such as “Daily Goals”. The other tabs are most likely for event-related and Animal-related (such as “Host the Most”) Goals.

This new update will also provide further enhancements to streamline the Gardening experience: the tempo for garden controls and animated cutscenes will be increased. Also, the time that remains for you to purchase or trade limited-time items will be displayed.

Finally, the update for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp will also provide further enhancements:

• the maximum number of items you can carry will be increased;
• you will be able to view the garden event explanations by talking to Lloid;
• your new outfit will be automatically saved if you switch between menus (or close the menu) after changing your outfit.
