amiibo: unboxing of the first Mario series figures and Captain Toad footage

This week, on Friday, a brand new wave of amiibo are coming out in both Europe and North America. It’s the first one for the Super Mario series, and includes:

– Mario
– Peach
– Yoshi
– Toad
– Luigi
– Bowser

Want to see what the figures look like in real life? Here’s an unboxing video from NintenDaan:

Those figures can be used in Mario Party 10, where they unlock special boards based on the various characters from the Mario series. In Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, the Toad amiibo unlocks some special Hidden Toad challenges, where you need to find the 8-bit Toad hidden in each level.
