amiibo: Japan to get new shipments for several figures next month

Ever since Nintendo launched amiibo, in November last year, shortages have been common place (especially for the less popular characters). The company has had to send various statements about them, apologising for the shortages and promising an increase in production for several figures.

Today, Nintendo announced that several amiibo would get new shipments starting mid-June. Those are:

– Marth (Super Smash Bros. series)
– Ike (Super Smash Bros. series)
– Lucario (Super Smash Bros. series)
– Meta Knight (Super Smash Bros. series)
– Lucina (Super Smash Bros. series)
– Robin (Super Smash Bros. series)

Unfortunately, we don’t know if/when Europe and North America will also get new shipments for those figures.
