Aeterna Noctis: Virtuoso (Boss Rush DLC) to challenge players next month

Next month, Aeterna Noctis will celebrate its 1st Anniversary. In order to mark the occasion, the developers (Aeternum Game Studios) have prepared some extra challenging content for players who want to push their skills to the limit: the Virtuoso DLC.

Releasing on November 9th worldwide for 4.99€ / $4.99, the Virtuoso DLC adds a boss rush mode, allowing you to face the ruthless bosses of the base game to your heart’s liking. But that’s not all. The DLC also adds some extras to the boss rush mode, such as a new modes of combat, new difficulty modes, and even brand new attack patterns… not to mention an unreleased final boss!

Here’s a trailer and some details for that DLC:

Just over a month until players can step into the shoes of the King of Darkness to face the ruthless bosses of Aeterna Noctis and their much more lethal versions. According to the video and images shared by the studio, “Virtuoso” is a boss rush that will allow players to repeat the fights against the wide and varied catalogue of final bosses in the base game as many times as they want, adding new modes of combat, difficulty and attack patterns, exclusive challenges and what seems like a new, unreleased final boss.

Virtuoso will not only include the bosses we already know but also a redesign of their behaviour and attacks in a new scenario that will serve as a combat arena and will be presided over by the charismatic Collector. This NPC will challenge us to defeat his specimens, the final bosses of the game, and to overcome each of the boss streaks, organized in different groups.

One thing has become clear to us after learning the details of this imminent DLC: it is content designed for the most demanding players. If you enjoy testing your reflexes and tenacity, you can expect hours of relentless fighting against old acquaintances with added difficulty modes.

The Virtuoso DLC for Aeterna Noctis comes out on November 9th worldwide.
