Today, Capcom held a special event dedicated to the 15th Anniversary of the Ace Attorney series. Naturally, the published used that as an opportunity to make various announcements, that we’re going to round up in this post!
Dai Gyakuten Saiban 2
A new trailer for Dai Gyakuten Saiban 2 was shown, and it was confirmed the game would be released exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS. The trailer is now available online:
The official website reveals that more details about the game would be shared this week, most likely via Famitsu magazine first.
Dai Gyakuten Saiban 2: Naruhodou Ryuunosuke no Kakugo (3DS) should be released this year in Japan.
Ace Attorney Encyclopedia 2001 – 2016
On March 21st, Capcom will release an encyclopedia covering the entire series, from 2001 to 2016. There’s 336 pages (format: A4), with detailed info on each case, complete with timelines. It looks like there’s also some 6 secret stories, including one written by Shu Takumi himself. Naturally, the book will be filled with spoilers!
15th Anniversary orchestra concert
On May 6th, Capcom will hold a special orchestra concert for the 15th Anniversary of the series. It will be held at the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan, and there will be two performances (afternoon and evening). The concert will feature music from Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice, Ace Attorney Investigations and Dai Gyakuten Saiban: Naruhodou Ryuunosuke no Bouken (among others).

Monster Hunter Explore
A special collaboration with the mobile game Monster Hunter Explore. From January 25th to January 30th, players will be able to get various pieces of Ace Attorney-related equipment:
Do you want to travel in style? If yes, then you’re in luck: Capcom is going to release 7 Ace Attorney-themed carry cases on March 30th, for 32 400 Yen each. Here’s what they look like:
A special collaboration with NAVITIME was announced. From January 23rd, an “Ace Attorney” mode will be added in the app, replacing the icons with some featuring the Ace Attorney characters, and the navigation icon is relaced by The Blue Badger. There’s also sounds effects, like the Judge pounding his gavel (when you start your journey), or “Objection” voice clips.

From February onward, the judge’s very own gavel will be available at the Capcom Café and other game centers operated by Capcom:
From February 16th to March 12th, Animate stores across Japan will have a special corner where exclusive merchandise will be on sale.
