Bug Fixes
- Added a fix to prevent weapons from disappearing due to certain actions, such as picking them up while dying
- Fixed an issue where a character who was not supposed to speak was saying the wrong lines in some intermission scenes
- Fixed a bug in Mission 20, “The Wrath of the Thunder God,” where the giant flying saucer’s laser turrets would stop firing if the player was defeated at a specific moment
- Fixed a bug where crouching made the player virtually invisible to enemies
- Fixed a bug where the screen would go black when attempting to select a different mission from the mission selection terminal behind the starting point in certain intermission scenes
- Fixed an issue where the BGM for Mission 24 would sometimes not stop playing
- Corrected an incorrect message in the guide UI that appeared when approaching the mission selection terminal behind the starting point in intermission scenes
Comfort and Usability Improvements
- Removed the auto-select option when opening the mission selection screen after clearing the final EX mission
- Added glitch and error dialog effects for when “something strange happens” during EX missions
- Adjusted enemy spawn trigger positions in Mission 13 and Extra Mission13
- Made the bottom of the “underwater” section in Extra Mission 13 slightly shallower
- Changed the behavior so that the options menu no longer opens when closing the auxiliary equipment creation terminal UI with the ESC key
- Fall damage from heights is now nullified when equipped with Ad-Boost (Triple Jump) or L-Armor (Movement Speed Boost)
- Increased the healing amount of the Rp-Kit (Healing Field Generation)
- Added four new presets to the color customization options
- Made the “entrance” to Extra missions slightly easier to access
- Adjusted the stats of certain enemies
- Adjusted the stats and cost of certain auxiliary equipment
- Added an option to invert the vertical perspective

How to download updates for The Last Salvage Squad on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2?
To download the updates for The Last Salvage Squad, you have three options:
- let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off
If not…
- try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;
OR
- select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.
To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
