Cattle Country – Ver. ???

  • Patch notes:

No patch notes available. This update brings the following to the game:

  • fixes a bug impacting the Hoedown event early in the game
  • brings some Quality of Life improvements
  • Fixed localisation bug – The game no longer stops player from progressing after reaching farming level 3 when playing with the Japanese language.
  • Fixed cutscene – Patients from scene 3 with Andrew no longer get trapped in the Dr’s office after the scene is completed.
  • Fixed SFX – There is no longer a chance that the elevator SFX never stops playings.
  • Fixed unbreakable stumps – The game no longer shows the interaction hand icon that caused some tree stumps to be unbreakable.
  • Fixed moving building kit issues – Controller issues have now been fixed and buildings should no longer phantom duplicate randomly when moving them.
  • Fixed second rodeo ride – Game no longer softlocks after 50 seconds.
  • Fixed tree and mushroom growth – Trees and mushrooms now regrow normally after enough time passes.

How to download updates for Cattle Country on Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for Cattle Country, you have three options:

  • let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

  • try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

OR

  • select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
