Pokémon Komaster

Pokemon ComasterAnnounced a couple of weeks ago, Pokémon Komaster is a board game in which you use figures in order to try and take over the board, defeating your opponent’s figures in the process. It’s now available on Android in Japan (requires Android 2.3.3 or higher, 41MB for initial install), and will be released on iOS down the line.

As mentioned previously, the game is Free 2 Play, but with the usual microtransactions. You can purchase diamonds, which can then be used to buy better items and figures. Right now, the rarest figures are:

  • Charizard
  • Venusaur
  • Dialga
  • Palkia

To be more precise, you have a 0.5% chance of getting one of them when you buy a Single pack. If you’re trying to get a rare figure, it’s a 1.5% chance we’re talking about. And for Ultra Common figures,  it’s 7.16-7.17%. You can level up the figures by playing normally.

Gameplay wise, Pokémon Komaster is based on the Pokémon Trading Figure game: attacks are done by spinning, and the amount of damage inflicted to your opponent’s figures depends on where the figure lands.
