7th Dragon III code:VFD – First gameplay footage, boxart visual
As announced last week, 7th Dragon III code:VFD was showcased today during a livestream on NicoNico. We got to see some gameplay footage taken straight from the game, and more precisely of a dungeon. If you’ve played other 3D Dungeon-RPGs, especially from the Etrian Odyssey series, the gameplay footage below will seem pretty familiar to you.
In dungeons, there’s two kinds of enemies: regular enemies, with battles triggered at random, and dangerous enemies that you can see in the dungeon. During battles, you can have a party of up to 9 characters (this was revealed during the very first livestream, earlier this month), with some of them acting as back up.
Here’s the first gameplay footage for 7th Dragon III code:VFD on Nintendo 3DS:
But that’s not all: SEGA also revealed the main visual to be used for the game’s boxart during the livestream.
7th Dragon III code:VFD (3DS) comes out on October 15th in Japan.
