Miitomo: latest content updates (items, Miitomo Drop themes, etc.)
Nintendo regularly adds new content to Miitomo, let it be new clothing items in the shop, new Mii Drop Themes, and more. Instead of posting a separate post each time, we’re going to regular update this post!
July 29th
- [General] Miitomo Summer T-Shirt Fest: click here to learn more about that! You can click here to check out the t-shirts available via My Nintendo in your region!
- [Miitomo Shop] New items are available, including the Watermelon Hat
- [Miitomo Drop] New stages available: Mario characters T-shirt Festival [Mario and Friends, Bowser and Friends] (available until August 18th)
July 27th
- [Miitomo Drop] New stage is available: “All Eyes on You! Swimwear Collection! [C]” (available until August 11th)
July 25th
- [Miitomo Drop] New stage is available: “All Eyes on You! Swimwear Collection! [B]” (available until August 11th)
- [Global] Since Marie won the very last Splatfest, it’s her badge that all players can get for free starting today! All you have to do is launch Miitomo before August 1st!
- [Miitomo Shop] The Marie and Callie badges are now available (for a limited time), and cost 1000 coins each.
July 22nd

- [Daily Bonus] A new month has started, which means it’s time for the latest batch of Daily Bonuses! What’s more, to celebrate the launch of Ver. 1.3.0, Nintendo is offering one Game Ticket per day until July 7th, on top of the Daily Bonuses!
- [Miitomo Shop] New clothing items are now available, including the Chipmunk Tail!
- [Miitomo Drop] New theme is available: “Sparkling Night Sky! Starlight Series [A]” (available until July 24th)

- [Reminder] You have until July 1st to get your Mario Hat as a free gift in Miitomo: just launch the app before that date, and it will be sent to your gift box! And on the same day, the Mario Outfit reward will also be removed from My Nintendo, so don’t wait any longer before getting it if you’re interested!

- [General] New clothing items are now available for free (from the RT campaign): Link’s new hairdo wig, Link’s hairdo wig, Pixel Link T-Shirt (black). You need to claim it before July 14th.
- [Miitomo Shop] New clothing item available: Master Sword + Shield (2 980 coins)
- [My Nintendo] New clothing item available as reward: Bow and Arrow (available until July 14th)

- [Miitomo Shop] New clothings items are now available, including the Dino Egg.
June 10th
- [Everybody Answers] Today, a brand new question went live: “What’s a mysterious experience you’ve had?”. As always, you only have one week to answer (until June 18th), and you can get some Platinum Coins on My Nintendo if you do.
- [Miide Tomoshiru’s Favourites] One of today’s notifications is about the official Miitomo account on Twitter, which has Miide Tomoshiru as its representative. It encourages users to share their answers publicly for the Everybody Answers question, but the problem is… the link given leads to the official account in Japanese! Does that mean the official English account will finally be open?
- [Miitomo Drop] Today, a new theme for Miitomo went live: “Happy Splashing! Rain, followed by Miitomo [A, B, C]”, available until June 19th

- [Miitomo Shop] A new set of Daily Items are now available. They’re different for each player, so unfortunately, there’s no way to know in advance what you will get!

- [Everybody Answers] A new question is available: “Which would you rather go to? A Black Tie Event, or a Fancy Dress Party?”. It’s a tie-in with Splatoon, and more precisely the next Splatfest taking place next week. You have until May 14th to answer, and get some Platinum Points for My Nintendo (provided you linked a Nintendo Account with Miitomo).

- [Miifoto] A new contest started last week in Japan, and will last until April 20th (11.59PM JST). This time, the theme is “Spring and Mii”! Unfortunately, only users living in Japan can participate (most likely due to the lack of official account in English, or any other language).
