Xenoblade Chronicles X: tweets of the day (April 27th)

Today, Shingo Kawabata (Producer) posted three tweets on the official Twitter account for Xenoblade Chronicles X. Since the game comes out in less than 2 days in Japan, it’s obviously about the game’s launch that he talked about, asking players if their Wii U was ready.

He also explains that the day Xenoblade Chronicles X comes out (April 29th) is actually a public holiday (Showa Day). Usually, games come out on week days, meaning most of the developers have to go work and can’t go check out the launch in stores themselves.

But this time around, the staff won’t have to go work thanks to the public holiday. Therefore, if you live in Japan and if you’re planning to go buy a copy of the game at your favorite retailer in Tokyo, you might spot a staff member from Monolith Software hiding in the shadows and staring worriyingly at the cash register… maybe!
