Terraria: Nintendo 3DS version out on April 21st in Japan (retail / digital)

TerrariaEarlier today, we learned from Famitsu that Terraria was coming to Japan. Thanks to the usual leaks, we have some additional details about the Japanese release of the game. First, we have the confirmation that Terraria will be released at retail in Japan… at least, the Nintendo 3DS version!

The Nintendo 3DS version of the game will be released on April 21st in Japan, and it will cost 4 104 Yen at retail (3 000 Yen on the Nintendo eShop). As for the Wii U version, Famitsu doesn’t have any details (price, release date). The game will be published by Spike-Chunsoft (who already handled the other versions of Terraria in Japan), and development is 75% complete.

Unfortunately, we don’t know when Terraria on Nintendo 3DS will come out at retail in Europe and North America, but it shouldn’t be too far from the Japanese release. No doubt we’ll get some news within the next few weeks! We also don’t know when the Wii U version of the game will be released.
