Super Robot Wars Y to launch on August 28th in Japan
During a livestream yesterday, Bandai-Namco announced the release date for Super Robot Wars Y (revealed during the Japanese Nintendo Direct in March). This brand new entry in the Super Robot Wars will launch on August 28th in Japan (with European and North American release still slated for later this year).

SUPER ROBOT WARS Y is a grid-based tactical combat RPG that brings units and pilots from a variety of anime together to battle their mutual foes.
This game is the newest addition to the SUPER ROBOT WARS series which started more than 30 years ago. Players will have to place their units strategically and command them to defeat their opponents. To strengthen their heroes and overcome the next challenge, they will be able to upgrade their units and train their pilots with the credits and resources earned after each mission.
Players will be able to enjoy impossibly epic battles where units and pilots from all the series clash together! Be ready to embark on a lore-rich journey in this new saga of SUPER ROBOT WARS.

Super Robot Wars Y (Switch) comes out on August 28th in Japan. No release date yet for other regions.
