Super Mario Maker: videos for the many costumes

Super Mario MakerIf you’ve already played Super Mario Maker (or read one of our many posts about it), you definitely know about the costumes. Those not only change Mario’s appearance, they also come with various poses and sound effects. They’re only available in the classic Super Mario Bros. style, and you need Mystery Mushrooms in the levels to use them.

There’s over 100 costumes in the game, and many of them can be unlocked using amiibo (which are not required). Nintendo regularly adds more via Event Courses, such as those for Excitebike and Super Mario Bros. 2 coming on Thursday.

Today, Nintendo uploaded several videos for Super Mario Maker, showcasing the many costumes in the game. They are divided in various categories, based on the unlocking method.
