Story of Seasons: new entry revealed for the Nintendo 3DS

This week, Famitsu magazine has a very nice surprise for fans of the Story of Seasons series (previously known as Harvest Moon in the West): a brand new entry, on Nintendo 3DS! This year is the 20th anniversary of the franchise, which made its appearance on the SNES back in 1996 (in Japan). To celebrate, Marvelous will release a third game on Nintendo 3DS.

This new entry is called “Bokujou Monogatari 3tsu no Sato no Taisetsuna Tomodachi” (lit: “Story of Seasons: Precious Friends from the Three Villages”), and will get four pages in the latest issue of Famitsu magazine (to be released on Thursday in Japan). We will get details about the new characters, but also the gameplay systems, and more.
