SteamWorld Heist development update: New 3DS footage, GamesCom plans

After a little break due to the holidays, Image & Form are back with another development update for SteamWorld Heist. They uploaded a Vlog, in which they explained their plans for GamesCom 2015 and more… there’s even some New Nintendo 3DS footage in there!

First, they announced that SteamWorld Heist would be playable at the GamesCom next week, on Nintendo’s booth. To be more precise, it’s the Nintendo 3DS version of the game that players will be able to try out, which is the first time this version will be available to the public. As for the full game, it will first launch this Fall on Nintendo 3DS (sometime later than August), then it will come to the other platforms (including the Wii U).

And don’t forget about the SteamWorld Ambassador Challenges, which allow the winners to get exclusive info about SteamWorld Heist… but also play the game before everyone else! The team at Image & Form is currently working on new challenges, which will be even bigger and better than before. The first one will be announced in a few weeks!

SteamWorld Heist (3DS) will come out this Fall in Europe and North America.
