Splatoon: Squid Fashion Contest in Famitsu, footage

If you read out post about this week’s Famitsu previews, you probably know about the Squid Fashion Contest already. This is a special contest from Famitsu and Nintendo, where fans can come up with the design for Inkling Gear. The best entry will even be added to the game, via an upcoming Software update!

To participate, fans have to make an illustration for their Inkling gear, and then send it to Famitsu. The illustration must include:

– the headgear (hats, glasses, etc.);
– the clothes (top, bottom);
– the footwear;

If you live in Japan and want to participate, you can get the rules and various details about this contest on Famitsu’s website. This contests runs from May 21st to June 11th (11.59PM JST).

Splatoon (Wii U) comes out on May 28th in Japan, and May 29th in Europe and North America.
