Splatoon: new weapons to be added in a few hours (Luna Blaster Neo/H-3 Nozzlenose D)
When Nintendo detailed the first major Software update for Splatoon, in July, they made it pretty clear that new content (maps and weapons) for Splatoon would still be added to the game on a regular basis. The point is obviously to keep players interested, so that they keep on playing without getting bored with the same weapons and maps.
Since the Ver. 2.0.0 update, new additions have been taking place only once a week (on Saturday morning / Friday evening, most of the time), as opposed to twice a week before the update. This week, it will be on Friday morning (after a little break last week), with not one, but two new weapons from the Shooters family: the Luna Blaster Neo and the H-3 Nozzlenose D.
Luna Blaster Neo
As the name implies, it’s a modified version of the Luna Blaster, which was released back in June. However, the only difference is its Sub and Special Weapons, as the stats are exactly identical to the original. It comes with Splat Bombs (Sub) and Bomb Rush (Special), which are perfect for players who love when things get really messy!

H-3 Nozzlenose D
As the name implies, it’s a modified version of the H-3 Nozzlenose. Basically, it’s a H-3 Nozzlenose decorated with badges from the manufacturer. It stats may be identical (the badges are only there for decoration and do not have any influence at all), but this variant comes with the Point Sensor (Sub) and Inkzooka (Special).

The Luna Blaster Neo and the H-3 Nozzlenose D weapons will be added on Friday morning (instead of Saturday morning, due to the 7th Splatfest in Japan and North America), at the usual time:
- Europe: 3AM
- UK: 2AM
- North America (EDT): 10PM (Thursday evening)
- North America (DPT): 7PM (Thursday evening)
- Japan: 11AM
