Splatoon: 6th Splatfest will take place next week-end in Europe
Splatfest are special 24 hour long events that take place regularly in Splatoon. During those, players have to answer a question (like “Do you prefer cats or dogs?”), before joining a team depending on their answer. At the end of each Splatfest, the team with the most points win, based on popularity and number of battles won.
Europe
Nintendo announced it today (October 10th): the next Splatfest for Europe will indeed take place on October 17th, at the usual time. The theme is: Cats vs Dogs, which is the same one that was used for the very first Splatfest in North America. Does that mean we should expect re-runs of previous North American Splatfest in Europe (and European themes for North American Splatfest), or is that a one-off thing?
This Splatfest will start on October 17th at:
- Europe: 7PM
- UK: 6PM
- North America (EDT): 1PM
- North America (PDT): 10AM
- Japan: 2AM (October 18th)
As usual, this Splatfest is only for players with a European copy of Splatoon.
North America
Yesterday, the Squid Research Lab announced that the 6th Splatfest for North America would also take place next week-end (October 9th to October 10th), at the usual time. The theme will be: “Do you prefer to travel by Car or by Plane?”
The next Splatfest is almost upon us! This time we ask: how would you rather travel, by car or by plane?
On one hand, you can stop whenever you want in a car but you also spend more time getting to your destination. Air travel can be a bit more stressful but you get free snacks!
We’ll settle this once and for all when the next Splatfest starts on Friday, 10/9, at 9 PM.
This Splatfest will start at:
- North America (EDT): 12AM (October 10th)
- North America (PDT): 9PM (October 9th)
- Europe: 6AM (October 10th)
- UK: 5AM (October 10th)
- Japan: 1PM (October 10th)
As usual, this Splatfest is only for players with a North American copy of Splatoon.
