Splatoon 3: latest videos and additional footage

With the release of Splatoon 3 drawing near, Nintendo have been intensifying their promotional efforts with the release of various videos for the game, along with various events (like the upcoming Splatfest World Premiere this week-end).

First, here’s a new video with about 3 minutes of gameplay:

Also, Nintendo have shared a new video called “Gameplay Research 101 (Beginner’s Guide)”, which introduces the main elements of the Splatoon series using Splatoon 3 as example (it’s the English version of the video called “Starting with Splatoon”, shared last week by Nintendo in Japan):

The Japanese version of this video came with a special website (available only in Japanese) which features the same information as the video above. It introduces the Inkling / Octoling and details how they can swim in ink, introduces Turf Wars and some of the stages, showcases the various weapon types, and details Gear.

Finally, Nintendo have shared a brand new commercial for the Nintendo Switch, showcasing Splatoon 3 (and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe):
