Skylanders Imaginators: no traps and vehicles for the Nintendo Switch version, more
Shortly after the Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017, last month, Activision shared some details about the Nintendo Switch version of Skylanders Imaginators. The company revealed that players would be able to save Skylanders to a digital library, using the NFC reader, and then be able to use them anywhere they want, without the Portal of Powers.
Unfortunately, it looks the Nintendo Swich version of Skylanders Imaginators will miss on some content… Nintendo’s website indicates that traps and vehicles are not playable in this version of the game.
Also, speaking of Skylanders, Activision announced this week that the Skylanders Academy anime series would get a third season in 2018, and that production would begin this month. Once again, it’s TeamTO (located in France) that’s working on animation.
As for Season 2, here’s some the actors/voice actors that will join the cast:
- Felicia Day (The Guild, Supernatural and Buffy the Vampire Slayer) as Cynder, a new cadet at the Academy with a mysterious past
- The Diamond Minecart (Daniel Middleton) as Cy

As for the theme song, it’s Harmony, produced and performed by Timbaland (feat. Dalton Diehl).
Skylanders Imaginators (Switch) will be released on March 3rd in Europe and North America.
