Scram Kitty and his Buddy on Rails: Split Arms update, video

Scram Kitty and his Buddy on Rails is a a unique shooter available on the Nintendo eShop, for the Wii U. It came out exactly one year ago in Europe and North America (on May 15th, 2014), and to celebrate, DakkoDakko is releasing a Software update for the game.

The main feature brought by this Software update is twin-stick shooting. Now, you can use the right stick to lock on enemies and shoot at them. Of course, the original control scheme is still available for purists and/or those looking for a challenge, as the new one certainly simplifies things a lot and makes the game more accessible.

The developers also added and fixed various things, like the AI (which has been updated throughout the game), game balance, and even the annoying audio glitch. If you want a rundown of the various additions/changes/fixes brought by this update, as well as a demonstration of the actual changes, Dakko Dakko uploaded a video showcasing them.
