Runbow Deluxe Edition (Pocket): boxart, pre-orders, interview on 3DS version
Just before E3, we learned that Runbow was not only headed to retail on Wii U, but also to (New) Nintendo 3DS. Everything was confirmed and more details were given at E3, during the indie segment with Damon Baker. And yesterday, Nighthawk Interactive (publishing the game at retail, in North America) revealed that Runbow would be coming at retail on October 18th in North America.

Talking of Runbow Pocket, Nintendo Enthusiast published an interview with 13AM Games.
In it, they reveal that development for the Nintendo 3DS version of Runbow started about 3 months ago. Right now, the game is only supposed to come out on New Nintendo 3DS, but the developers are apparently going to try and make the game run on regular Nintendo 3DS consoles. Unfortunately, it’s far from guaranteed that it will work, at least at this point.
When asked if Runbow was successful, here’s what 13AM Games answered:
“We’re still working. It’s no overnight several million dollar success, but its keeping our studio running, and the fans are passionate, people are excited about the new announcements. We’re keeping it rolling and its keeping us alive.”
