Project X Zone 2: blog post for the Dragonturtle Mk. 1 and its designer

On the official website, Koji Ishitani (Producer at Monolith Soft.) posted a blog post in order to introduce a special vehicle called “Dragonturtle Mk. 1”. It was designed by Naohiro Washio, who has worked as designer for Mobile Suit Gundam 00 and Gyrozetter. In the game, the driver of this special vehicle is a woman called Chizuru Urashima, who is at the head of Shinra’s Equipment Division.

With this well-equipped transport vehicle, Chizuru Urashima and her passengers can travel across worlds. It has two modes: terrain mode and flight mode. The producer describes it as some sort of mobile base of operation, where the characters will gather several time during the main story.

Koji Ishitani explains that he’s known Naohiro Washio for quite a while, and one day, he told him it would be nice if they could work together on a game one day. And several years later, this “dream” came true with Project X Zone 2: it was now or never, according to the producer. But Naohiro Washio isn’t the only guest designer in Project X Zone 2: more will be revealed in the upcoming weeks.

Project X Zone 2: Brave New World (3DS) comes out on November 12th in Japan, and in Early 2016 in Europe and North America.
