Pro Yakyuu Famista Returns: some details and screenshots

Today, Bandai-Namco has finally revealed the first official screenshots for the game (following those found on Amazon.co.jp, last week), along with some additional details. First, the publisher confirms the game will include the very latest data about Japanese Pro Baseball players.

Next, we have the  new game modes:

– Famista Rank Match: the online ranking-based mode. You will get to play against other players of the same level. Your ultimate goal: becoming the n°1 player in Japan;

– Famista Quest: in this mode, you play against the ghost data of other players, in order to save Japan from some mysterious aliens (who seem to be made of metal). You go on a journey throughout Japan, and you get to play against teams of players who are being manipulated by those very aliens. From the looks of it, if you manage to beat them, they will join your ranks.

As for the Dream Pennant Mode, it has been improved. In this mode, you can get player cards by using FP (Famista Points), which are awarded when you win a match. If you collect enough of those, you can even create your very own Dream Team, with your favorite baseball players. You can change your starting line-up at will, but also equip various skills.
