Monster Hunter Poka-Poka Airou Village DX: new details, trailer and screenshots; 3DS Themes

Along with Monster Hunter X, Capcom revealed some new details for Monster Hunter Poka-Poka Airou Village DX (coming out on September 10th in Japan). In this game, you can become friends with many Felynes: when you do so (by completing various quests for them, like finding a lost Poogie), their facility is then unlocked. For example, the Poogie Park is a place you can unlock, where you can participate in Poogie races.

In total, there’s over 100 Felynes to befriend in the game, and here’s some examples of facilities and activities you can unlock:

– farms
– fishing areas
– bug-catching
– mining

Along with your Felyne friends, you can go on Exploration Quests, where you’ll face ferocious monsters such as the Rathalos, Lagiacrus, Seregios, or even the Gore Magala. During those quests, you can find some eggs: if you bring them back to the village, they will hatch and you will get a baby monster (that you have to raise).
