Pokémon Sun and Moon – Mega Stones distributions

A few weeks ago, players who participated in the Kanto X Alola Regional Rumble could get the Steelixite and Pidgeotite via a Serial Code. As usual, The Pokémon Company has now made those two Mega Stones available to all players via a Serial Code. The best part? That code also nets you a Heracronite and a Houndoominite!

The code to use to get all those Mega Stones is: AZUL. The Pokémon Company doesn’t mention an end date for that disitribution, but naturally, it’s recommended to get your Mega Stones as soon as possible.

One last thing to note about the Mega Stones: they cannot be used online until May 16th.

World Video Game Hall of Fame

Last year, the Pokémon series celebrated its 20th Anniversary, and it recently got a nice present a year later: Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green have been selected to enter the World Video Game Hall of Fame. The games inducted to that Hall of Fame are selected based on their popularity over a sustained period, and their impact on popular culture.

Pokémon has not only lasted more than 20 years, but it’s remained extremely popular ever since the first entry was released on GameBoy. With the induction of Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green, it’s the Pokémon series as a whole that is now part of the World Video Game Hall of Fame!
