Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon

Today, the second online competition for Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon was announced. It’s called Ultra Sinnoh Classic, and here’s all you need to know about it:

  • Pokémon allowed: Pokémon from the Sinnoh Pokédex (including Pokémon transferred via Poké Transporter)
  • Pokémon banned: regional variant of allowed Pokémon, but also Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, and Arceus;
  • Battles: Single Battles, Team of 6 Pokémon and 3 sent to battle;
  • Level: 50 (dropped to 50 if above);
  • Items: all allowed, with the exception of Mega Stoens and Z-Crystals. Also, two Pokémon cannot have the same Hold Item;
  • Participation prize: 50 Battle Points (need to battle at least once);
  • Registration: February 15th to February 22nd;
  • Battles: February 23rd to February 25th;
  • Results announced sometime in March.

Pokémon Shuffle

Today, some new and returning content went live for Pokémon Shuffle:

  • the Competitive Stage featuring Mega Lucario is now available until February 6th;
  • the Ultra Challenge featuring Tapu Bulu is back until February 13th;
  • the Ultra Challenge featuring Tapu Fini is also back until February 13th;
  • the Level MAX Challenge featuring Mewtwo is back until February 13th;

Also, to celebrate the 3rd Anniversary of Pokémon Shuffle (which has now been downloaded over 15 million times worldwide, on Nintendo 3DS and mobile), all players can get the following Pokémon as Special Log-in Bonus:

  • Mewtwo
  • Suicune
  • Pikachu (Fired Up)

Detective Pikachu (movie)

The Detective Pikachu movie will open on May 10th 2019 in the United States, and this month, filming began in London. Thanks to HowBug (on Twitter) and Digital Spy, we have some pictures of the film set. They don’t show much, but it’s still interesting to see it’s truly happening. Fans of the series will also notice various interesting details in the film set props!
