PokéNews (Jan. 24): Pokémon GO / Pokémon Duel

Today’s Pokémon news: more Pokémon from the Hoenn region in Pokémon GO, but also…

  • Pokémon Duel
  • Amazon Prime
  • P-Sports
  • Pokémon Puppet Show

Pokémon GO

When the first Pokémon from the Hoenn region were added to Pokémon GO, a few weeks ago, Niantic specified that they would not all be added at the same time. Instead, they would start appearing in waves, and the latest one went live yesterday.

There’s now 23 more Pokémon from the Hoenn region to catch in Pokémon GO: Anorith, Armaldo, Lileep, Cradily, Baltoy, Claydol, Cacnea, Cacturne, Aron, Lairon, Aggron (as a Raid Boss), Trapinch, Vibrava, Flygon, Whismur, Loudred, Exploud, Numel, Camerupt, Nosepass, Solrock, and Lunatone.

Speaking of Pokémon from the Hoenn region, a special event is currently running: for a limited time, every egg you hatch will contain one!

And it just so happens that Super Incubators are available in the in-game shop until February 1st!

Amazon Prime

Are you an Amazon Prime subscriber? Do you live in North America? If you answered “yes” to both question, you will be able to check the Pokémon channel on Amazon Channels. It will offer access to Series 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16 of the anime series, as well as various Pokémon movies (regular rotation, they’re not all available at once).

It’s not clear whether a similar service will also be launched outside North America in the future.
