Yesterday, Isao Yamazaki managed to unearth a really old picture, that shows the very first Nintendo building in Kyoto, from 1889. It’s where it all started, several decades before video games were even to become a thing!

Moppin may not be a name you’re familiar with, but if you’ve played Downwell, you definitely should be. After all, he’s the one who created it! And the reason we’re talking about it is that yesterday, he announced via Twitter that he was now working at Nintendo (in Japan). We don’t know why he was hired in the first place, and what he’s going to work on, though…
