Pokémon Sword and Shield
A new Wild Area is now live in Pokémon Sword and Shield, as part of the Pokémon Day 2020 celebrations. Starting today, and until March 2nd, the following Pokémon show up in Max Raid Battles: Mewtwo, Charmander, Squirtle and Bulbasaur. The following Gigantamax Pokémon also show up alongside them: Grimmsnarl, Kingler, Hatterene, Orbeetle, and Toxtricity. Unfortunately, you cannot catch Mewtwo.

To celebrate the release of Pokémon The Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution on Netflix, the following are now live in Pokémon GO:
- Pokémon that appear in the movie (along with their pre-evolution) are spawning more frequently in the wild
- Clone Pikachu will photobomb your GO Snapshots
- Clone Venusaur, Clone Charizard, and Clone Blastoise show up in 4 star Raids
- Armoured Mewtwo is back as Level 5 Raid Boss, with a new mode: Psytrike

Pokémon Trading Card Game
In Japan, retailers listings have revealed some upcoming sets for the Pokémon Trading Card Game:
- World Down (out on June 5th). Features 100 cards including Eternatus’ Eternamax form, Eternatus VMAX, and more.
- Legend’s Hearbeats (out on July 10th). Features +70 cards including Celebi, and a new type of rarity called Amazing Rare.
