Pokémon Sword and Shield
Season 2 of Ranked Battles in Pokémon Sword and Shield have been announced, and it features rules based on the upcoming ruleset of the Video Game Championships. You can download them from the Battle Stadium.
Here’s all you need to know:
- Pokémon allowed: Pokémon obtainable in Pokémon Sword and Shield, with the exception of Legendary and Mythical Pokémon
- Gigantamax Pokémon allowed: Charizard, Butterfree, Meowth, Eevee, Snorlax, Corviknight, Drednaw, Sandaconda, Centiskorch
- Team: 3 Pokémon out 6 (Singles) / 4 Pokémon out of 6 (Doubles)
- Level: 50 (lowered if above that, and increased if below that)
To celebrate Series 2 of Ranked Battles in Pokémon Sword and Shield, a new Serial Code has been announced: G1GANTAMAX. It can be used until January 30th in order to get 20BP.
