Pokémon Sword and Shield
The Pokémon Company have announced a new Wild Area event for Pokémon Sword and Shield. Until December 26th, Delibird will appear in Max Raid Battles, and beating them will allow you to earn more Candy as rewards as usual.
Also, some Serial Codes have been revealed, allowing you to get a variety of Poké Balls: check out this page for the list!

Community Day
Niantic have announced that, starting with the next one, they are going to test new Community Day hours based on the hemisphere you live in.
For example, here’s when the Community Day in January will take place (no change for those of you living in the Northen Hemisphere):
- Northern Hemisphere—Sunday, January 19, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in your local time zone
- Southern Hemisphere—Sunday, January 19, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in your local time zone
