Pokémon Sword and Shield
Nintendo have shared a video message from Shigeru Ohmori (Director), which features footage of a town in Pokémon Sword and Shield:
Speaking of Pokémon Sword and Shield, The Pokémon Company have confirmed that it will not make use of the Pokémon Global Link service (which doesn’t come as a surprise if you read the latest set of details, shared last week).
The usual features associated to Pokémon Global Link will instead be provided by the following:
- Rating Battle and Online Competitions will be available directly in-game, using the connectivity features of the Nintendo Switch
- Rankings, Distribution Regulations, Events Calendar will be available via the Pokémon Home app on smart devices
- Game Sync will not be required at all
More details about Pokémon Home will be shared at a later date.
Pokémon Sword and Shield (Switch) comes out on November 15th worldwide.
Pokémon Home (Switch – eShop, Android, iOS) does not have a release date yet.
