Pokémon news (Oct. 31) – Pokkén Tournament: Dark Mewtwo discovered

Pokkén Tournament

Pokkén Tournament got a special update for Halloween in Japan, on Arcade, with new helper Pokémon, a modified stage, special avatars, and more. But it turns out the developers also added a little surprise: if you go for a series of 3 matches, but lose the first two, a mysterious Pokémon appears… Dark Mewtwo! What’s more, it even Mega-Evolve into Mega Dark Mewtwo X.

However, we don’t know anything else about this Pokémon: is it an official Pokémon, to be found in an upcoming mainline game? A simple reskin for Pokkén Tournament? Will it be playable in Pokkén Tournament at one point in the future? Since the developers went so far as to create a brand new characters, with a very nice intro, it would be really surprising if it was only in the game for a few days.
