Pokémon GO

A quick heads up for players who might be living in Japan: field tests for Pokémon GO have begun, and selected players can download and try out the app. Unfortunately, we still don’t know if/when field tests will take place in other countries. According to beta testers, you start the game with 20 Poké Balls, and can have up to 500 Pokémon. However, it’s pretty likely this will change in the final version of the game.

Toys “R” Us

This week-end, there will be another in-store event at Toys “R” Us, as part of the Pokémon 20th Anniversary celebrations. On Saturday, April 2nd, from 2PM to 2PM, you will be able to get two exclusive Pokémon TCG cards (Clefairy, Meowth), along with an activity book. But a quick reminder is in order: just like the previous event, this one is also intended for kids aged 6 and up, and the goodies will only be distributed to them.
