Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon

Today, The Pokémon Company revealed a special cover plates for the New Nintendo 3DS, which will release alongside Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon on September 17th in Japan. It features an artwork of several Pokémon, including all those you can chose to play as at the beginning of the game.

Here’s two visuals for this cover plate (#63), which will cost 2000 Yen (+taxes):

Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon (3DS) comes out on September 17th in Japan, by the end of the year in North America, and early next year in Europe.

Pokkén Tournament

Earleir this month, it was announced that Blaziken would be added to Pokkén Tournament in August. And today, Bandai-Namco revealed some more information about that. Blaziken will be playable in the game starting August 6th, but there’s a catch: it will only be playable during a pre-release period, which will also serve as playtesting sessions for Bandai-Namco.

In order to play as Blaziken, you will need to register via the mobile website using your BanaPassport, from August 3rd to August 31st. After this date, Blaziken will not be playable anymore, but we don’t know when it will be officially added to the game, for all players.

Pokémon Shuffle

Heads up for Pokémon Shuffle players: the Groudon event stage is now back for one week, until August 7th (6AM UTC). As announced last week, in the upcoming weeks, Kyogre, Groudon and Rayquaza will come back for one week each, until September 9th. Next week, it’s Rayquaza which will be back for 7 days.

But that’s not all: a special promotion was launched today, and allows you to get some free Jewels simply by purchasing some in the in-game shop. There’s three periods for this promotion, but you can only get one set of 6 jewels for free. After your purchase, you will get your free jewel via in-game check-in, during one of the designated periods (depending on when you made your purchase):

– from July 31st to August 3rd (check-in: August 5th to September 5th)
– from August 3rd to August 10th (check-in: August 12th to September 12th)
– from August 10th to August 17th (check-in: August 19th to September 19th)

Pokémon distribution

Finally, we have some details about the latest Japanese distribution for Pokémon Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire. It allows fans to get Ash’s Pikachu, Serena’s Pancham, Latios and Lugia, and was first available at the 7-Eleven Stores throughout Japan earlier this month.

But next month and in September, the Pokémon will also be available via the Pokémon Centers and Pokémon Stores across Japan:

– August 17th to August 23rd: Serena’s Pancham
– August 24th to August 30th: Ash’s Pikachu
– August 31st to September 6th: Latios
– September 7th to September 13th: Lugia
