Pokémon news (Dec. 4) – Pokémon Picross pre-paid card, more

Pokémon logoPokémon Picross

On December 14th, The Pokémon Company will release a Pokémon Picross-themed Nintendo eShop pre-paid card (1 000 Yen). Since the game uses micro-transactions, there’s no wonder such as card will be released. After all, Pokémon Shuffle got several of them earlier this year!

But there’s something a bit special about this pre-paid card: you not only get 1 000 Yen to spend on the Nintendo eShop (on whatever you want), but you also get an exclusive Nintendo 3DS Theme at the same time. The download code for the Nintendo 3DS Theme has to be redeemed before January 31st, 2017. The pre-paid card will be sold at 7-Eleven and Pokémon Center/Stores.

Here’s pictures for the pre-paid card and the Nintendo 3DS Theme:

Battle competition

Yesterday, registration for the latest battle competition (Festive Feud) went live: you have until December 10th to register. Battles will run from December 11th to December 13th. If you participate, you will get a special Delibird no matter how many matches you won. This delibird knows the Present and Happy Hour moves, and holds the Relic Gold item (an item you cannot get in Generation VI games for now).

As a bonus, here’s two fake commercials for the Machoke Moving Company:
