Pokémon GO – Adventure Week
Yesterday, the latest Adventure Week for Pokémon GO went live, and runs until June 5th. New Field Research can now be tackled, with “exciting” rewards to unlock. That includes a Raid Battle with Aerodactyl!
During this event, Rock-type Pokémon such as Geodude, Lileep, and Nosepass will appear more frequently in the wild. Also, your Buddy Pokémon will earn Candy 4 times faster, you can receive extra XP for spinning the Photo Discs at PokéStops or Gyms (though only up to 10 times).
But that’s not all: there has also been reports of Shiny Aerodactyl, Shiny Omanyte, and Shiny Kabuto appearing during the event!
To coincide with this new event, new boxes are available from the in-game store:
- Special Box (480 coins): 3 Incense, 3 Incubators, 5 Lucky Eggs
- Great Box (780 coins): 6 Incense, 6 Super Incubators, 8 Lucky Eggs, 6 Lure Modules
- Ultra Box (1 480 coins): 12 Super Incubators, 15 Lucky Eggs, 8 Premium Raid Passes, 15 Lure Modules
Finally, here’s the list of new Raid Bosses:
- Level 1: Omanyte, Kabuto, Lileep, Anorith
- Level 2: Sudowoodo, Magcargo, Nosepass
- Level 3: Lunatone, Solrock, Shuckle
- Level 4: Golem, Rhydon
Pokémon GO – Community Day
As announced previously, the next Community Day will take palce on June 16th. This time around, you will be able to catch a special Larvitar, that will learn a special move when evolved to a Tyranitar. During the event, you will get 3 times the usual amount of XP when catching Pokémon, and Lure Modules will last 3h.
Here’s when the Community Day takes place:
- Asia/Pacific: 12PM to 3PM
- Europe, Middle East, Africa, India: 10AM to 1PM BST / 11AM to 2PM CEST
- Americas, Greenland: 11AM to 2PM PST
Pokémon GO – Field Research
Yesterday, it was announced that a new set of Field Research tasks will go live on June 1st, at 1PM PT / 4PM ET / 9PM BST / 10PM CEST / 5AM JST (June 2nd). This time, the focus is on Water-type Pokémon, and you will be able to get Articuno via Research Breakthrough.

Pokémon GO – Update
Earlier this week, a brand new update for Pokémon GO was released. You can find the official patch notes on this page, but here’s some additional data:
- the game now displays proper Error Messages (instead of just the word “Error”);
- various bug fixes;
- preparations for the Alola Forms Pokémon.
