Pokémon GO: new Pokémon announced next week, Sprint sponsorship (US)

Have you already caught all the Pokémon that can be found in Pokémon GO? If yes, you will be glad to learn that new Pokémon will be announced next week, on December 12th. We don’t quite know which ones yet, but many fans are expecting Pokémon from the second Generation to be added. Only a couple of days left until we find out!

In a message shared on the official website, John Hanke (CEO of Niantic) explains that Niantic still has a “few new experiences and in-game events” planned before the end of the year, and that includes the very first addition of new Pokémon since launch. No doubt there’s a special holiday event in the works, too (one involving Delibird?).

Speaking of Pokémon GO, it was announced yesterday that Sprint was the very first Pokémon GO partner in the United States. As a result, there’s now 10 500 additional (and sponsored) PokéStops and Gyms. To be more precise, all Sprint, Boost Mobile, and Sprint at Radioshack stores will become PokéStops and Gyms.

Also, those Sprint locations will also have in-store charging stations, allowing players to keep playing even longer.
