NyaNyaNya! Neko Mario Time #55 and 56
Last month, Nintendo uploaded the 55th episode of its webshow aimed at kids: NyaNyaNya! Neko Mario Time.
Here’s the contents of NyaNyaNya! Neko Mario Time #55:
Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash
In this segment, Cat Mario and Cat Peach introduce Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash, and explain the various game mechanics (Chance Shot, Drop Shot, Lob Shot, Jump Shot, and more). They also talk about the varioius types of characters (Speed type, Power type, Tricky type), but also the Mega Battle Mode.
Hyrule Warriors Legends
In this segment, Cat Mario and Cat Peach introduce Hyrule Warriors Legends, and its game mechanics (including character switching, boss battles, materials, powering up your characters, and more). They also show some story cutscenes, the new characters, and even the new weapon for Ganondorf.
NyaNyaNya Gakuen – Splatoon
In this new segment, Cat Mario tried to give some tips to Captain Toad, so that he can become better at Splatoon:
1) hide in ink often: pretty useful when you come face to face with an enemy. You can easily avoid their attack, and escape if you need some breathing room;
2) don’t hesitate to go back to starting point if you’re in danger, instead of trying to take on three opponents at once. You can also use special attacks: check if your head is flashing to see if you can use yours!
3) use sub weapon such as bombs (however, do note that you can’t use them if you don’t have enough ink)
Finally, the episode ends with a showcase of Miiverse x The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes – Art Academy contest artworks.

In this segment, Yamamura Tomohiro (Assistant Director) play against the CPU on the hardest difficulty mode. He plays as Daisy, while the CPU plays as Luigi.
Mei Tantei Pikachu ~Shin Konbi Tanjou~
In this segment, Cat Mario and Cat Peach introduce the game, and show a little bit of gameplay.
Nekketsu! NyaNyaNya Gakuen – Splatoon
In this segment, Cat Mario showed three things to check before playing online:
– Hero Mode: allows you to learn the various mechanics, and get used to them;
– Weapon shop: try out the various weapons, see how they work;
– Explore the maps, and get used to them
Finally, the episode ends with a showcase of Miiverse x The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes – Art Academy contest artworks.
