Nintendo Switch Online: list of games not compatible with Save Data Cloud backup
In the second half of September, Nintendo will launch its Nintendo Switch Online service. A subscription allows you to keep playing online, but also enjoy various services such as the retro games with added online play, the Nintendo Switch Online app, and of course the Save Data Cloub backup.
As the name implies, this service allows you to back up your save data in the cloud, in order to have access to it from anywhere thanks to your Nintendo Account. Unfortunately, there are games where Save Data Cloud backup is disabled (to prevent cheating / abuse of gameplay mechanics), and this is what this page is for. We’re going to (try and) list all the games that are not compatible with it and keep it updated as long as humanly possible.
Do note this is a preliminary page, as Nintendo is yet to share further details about Save Data Cloud backup. Make sure to drop us a line if you see a game is missing, or instead one is listed even though it shouldn’t be! The process is entirely done by hand, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
